Are you still trying find out which colony you want to move in too? Then you should move into the New York Colony. In the New York Colony you can be any religion you want. You can be a Quaker, Catholic, Lutheran, Christian and even more. If you're wondering what the children did in the New York Colony, these are some examples of what did, they would play hopscotch, they would go to school and they had to master something called the horn book. Also, if you were a boy your father would teach you how to cut wood, farm, and fix tools. The girls would learn from their mother how to cook, sew, and milk cows. If you're still not hooked to come to the New York Colony probably comparing it to a different colony will. Georgia is a wonderful colony and similar in some ways to New York but Catholic's were jailed and Jew's weren't welcomed in Georgia. Georgia has less jobs than New York, Georgia jobs include farming, lumbering, fishing, shoe making, being a blacksmith or doctor or carpenter and there is still more. But in New York there also many jobs like fur trading, lumbering, shipping, slave trade, farming, mining, shoe making, being a blacksmith, being a doctor, being a carpenter, and many more jobs! In the summer it may be hot and humid but it's perfect for growing a huge cash crop called tobacco, which you can make a lot of money from. I hope you come to New York because it sounds like there's a lot of job opportunities and your kids can go to school without plague going around in England. Also, you can get away from the cruel king in England. Quaker: What are "Quakers"?
